GovDATAx 2020

GovDATAx 2020 is the leading event for the data community to engage in dialogue and planning for future U.S. data policies. This conversation involves input from government leaders, corporations, small businesses, non-profits, and academia to maximize meaningfulness and practicality.

This year we teamed up with Government Matters, a multi-platform news program dedicated to providing non-partisan information and analysis on the federal government, to produce a conference ready for TV.

The virtual TV conference was presented as two one-hour sessions and aired across two days, September 29 – 30, 2020.

GovDATAx was an opportunity to identify, develop, and promote long-lasting data policies that will be impactful and ultimately support a strong economy and a better society. These policies have major implications for applying artificial intelligence, privacy protections, and the future of work.

The virtual event featured speakers from across government, the private sector, and academia who will share unique perspectives for improving the Executive Branch’s efforts to recognize data as a valuable asset. GovDATAx speakers will also emphasize the need to continue and expand the foundational work initiated across government agencies in recent years.

The strategic use of data improves decision-making, informs business approaches, and cultivates innovation. The Data Coalition is committed to achieving the American mission to leverage data for the public good.
