Overview
On Thursday, November 21, the Data Coalition hosted a reception to celebrate the launch of The Center for Impact Sciences at the University of Chicago’s Harris School of Public Policy. This Center helps policymakers use evidence to inform program and policy design by pioneering new frontiers in data standardization, evidence synthesis, and predictive analytics.
The Center aims to advance the conversation about what it really means to be “evidence-based,” so there was no better place to start the conversation than in Washington DC. The Data Coalition and University faculty convened leaders, policy-makers, researchers, and social scientists to discuss the future of the evidence-based policy movement.
