Data Transparency Breakfasts

The Coalition holds a series of Data Transparency Breakfasts in Washington, DC, throughout the year to bring the leading thinkers in data transparency together to focus on one topic.

The Data Transparency Breakfast series is a quarterly opportunity for dialogue with federal policymakers working to transform government information from disconnected documents into standardized, machine-readable data.  Each breakfast focuses on a specific element of data transparency and offers an excellent opportunity to be informed and network with key professionals in the policy, implementation and technology of data transparency.

In 2013-14, our Data Transparency Breakfasts explored the future of federal spending and the DATA Act; data standards in financial regulatory reporting; international data transparency; and federal CFOs’ use of standardized data. In 2015, Data Transparency Breakfasts will highlight current challenges and opportunities of data transparency for an expanding audience of policymakers and industry leaders.
